Article 4: Which Women May Permissibly Enter the cloister
Women may not pass under the gate at the porter's lodge without an escort and may not enter
the cloister, unless it is a noble or very pious woman who wishes to enter for
purposes of devotion or prayer. And those who come for procession should leave immediately afterward. Women should not eat nor rest in the workplaces adjacent to the
cloister, but they should be taken to the
house above the gate or to some place else.
